Patricia Noarbe shows off her ring after romantic football pitch proposal

Marcos Llorente's fiancée Patricia Noarbe showed off her sparkling engagement ring after her beau's romantic football pitch proposal on Tuesday.

The 26-year-old Atletico Madrid midfielder popped the question to the brunette beauty, 25, on the Wanda Metropolitano pitch on Monday.

And now Patricia has revealed more details of the special day as she gave fans a glimpse of her huge diamond sparkler on her Instagram Story.

She also showed off the very romantic hotel room in Dubai the pair stayed in after the proposal, with a line of rose petals leading to their huge bed which was also adorned with petals in the shape of their initials.

The bedroom also had dozens of red balloons hanging from the ceiling as well as a huge bath covered in more roses.

Waking up the next morning she shared the views from their hotel room in the UAE as she unpacked, as her husband-to-be cheekily scared her by pinching her bottom.

Marcos chose the perfect place to propose to his girlfriend... the pitch she watches every week.

The star, who spent four years as arch rivals Real Madrid before joining Atletico, announced he was engaged to girlfriend Patricia with a video showing him getting down on one knee inside the club's Wanda Metropolitano stadium.

The nine-minute long video shows Llorente being asked about his season at Atletico, where the pair watch his best goals of the campaign before a representative suggests they watch a video 'about the things that really matter'.

The in-stadium screens then show a smattering of the pair's best pictures together, before Llorente gets down on one knee and proposes.

Thankfully, an emotional Patricia accepted as they embraced and celebrated with their friends and family out on the pitch.

Llorente's new fiancée won't have long to return to the scene of their engagement, with Atletico facing Elche in their first home game on August 15 where she will no doubt be cheering him on if coronavirus restrictions allow for spectators.

She revealed in an Instagram post that she had been invited to the Wanda Metropolitano for a tribute to the midfielder, but 'ended up living something so special I still can't even believe'.

After the video was released, Llorente celebrated with an Instagram saying that in 'Paddy' he has 'no better life partner'.

It completes a successful year for Llorente, who cemented himself as an important part of Diego Simeone's team as they claimed the LaLiga title.
