Sam Allardyce has claimed Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola will “completely change” the “negative” philosophy in Italy, if he ends up at Juventus.
Reports in England have claimed that the Bianconeri are considering to offer the former Barcelona coach an exit-route from his current club Manchester City.
After two years of dominating the Premier League, the Citizens are currently 22 points behind Liverpool in the table and rumours regarding the future of Guardiola have emerged in the media.
According to Allardyce, who has coached a host of clubs in the Premier League and had a very short spell as England coach in 2016, such a move could provide a “complete change” in the style of football at the Allianz Stadium.
“The Italian style of football is very negative, very defensive in terms of its outlook and always has been,” Allardyce told talkSPORT. “To win 1-0 has always been enough for them.
“He [Guardiola] will go and change that completely. He imposes his style of football wherever he lands. He will transform Juventus in terms of the way they play to his normal passing game.”

Pep generally likes to play safe where the competition is minimum. Even in PL, he knew Arsenal United and Chelsea are not title contenders anymore, that's why he came. Right now, Serie A is pretty competitive. He should go to France now with PSG. He will probably win the title in February

What could Pep bring to Juventus than others coach? They all won the league but not the champions league. Despite this great team of Man '+City which won 100 points in league and which did not win the champion league, I'm not sure Pep is the right person to give champion leagues title to Juventus. It will be better to go for Zidane.
