Jose Mourinho has questioned Arsenal's transfer dealings despite the club signing six players this summer.
Most of the excitement with Gunners fans lies at the feet of Pepe, who joined in a stunning £72million move from Lille.
But Mourinho, making his first appearance on Sky Sports after signing up as a pundit for the season, has warned that the 24-year-old may "need time".
The Portuguese boss said: "I follow Lille a lot, last season after being sacked I didn't want to spend much time in English stadiums.
"So I went to Lille and watched Pepe and I think he's a very very talented player.
"But in England, there is always a question mark about the time needed to adapt.
"Obviously [he is] a kid with a lot of talent, he is potentially a very good signing for Arsenal."
He added: "Ceballos? A good player but I think they have other Ceballos' in the squad.
"When I see Mkhitaryan, Ozil, Ceballos, they can play in different positions and have very similar characteristics."

Very soon, Sky sports will stop calling Jose as a pundit cos he'll soon start criticizing them.
