England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford suffered an injury scare in the warm-up ahead of the Euro 2024 last-16 clash with Slovakia.

Pickford appeared to have an issue with his left hand and seemed angry as he left the pitch ahead of kick off.

The incident occurred as the 30-year-old attempted to save a shot during the warm-up.

Everton goalkeeper Pickford subsequently grimaced as he went down on his knees.

However, Pickford was still able to start the game in Gelsenkirchen.

Aaron Ramsdale and Dean Henderson are the other goalkeepers in the England squad. Ramsdale was seen showing his support to Pickford before the game.

Pickford, who has over 60 England caps, is firmly established as Gareth Southgate's first-choice shot-stopper.

Featuring at his fourth major tournament for England, Pickford has been involved in all of the Three Lions' games at Euro 2024 so far.

England finished top of Group C after taking five points from their three games but received much criticism for their performances.
