Barcelona centre back Gerard Pique has been accused of deliberately getting booked in La Liga to avoid a potential ban for El Clasico against Real Madrid on October 26.
Pique kicked the ball away late on in Barca's 4-0 win against Sevilla on Sunday, thus picking up his fifth yellow card of the season and with it a one-match suspension.
The 32-year-old will now miss Barcelona's first game after the international break, a trip to Eibar, but is free to play against fierce rivals Real Madrid at the Camp Nou a week later.

Well, the good news is that it wasn't Valverde that asked him to pick up the yellow. At least we didn't see any piece of paper passed to Pique nor a team mate wisher to him.
