Pjanic: I apologise to everyone & the decisions of referee must be respected

Miralem Pjanic apologised for his red card during the 2-1 Juventus victory against Napoli. “From the euphoria of a goal to guilt for leaving my teammates down to 10.”

The midfielder curled in a free kick to break the deadlock at the Stadio San Paolo, but received a second yellow card straight after the restart for handball.

“From the euphoria of a goal to guilt for leaving my teammates down to 10 men, to celebrating a fundamental victory,” wrote the Bosnian on Instagram.

“Obviously, I apologise to everyone and in any case the decisions of the referee must always be respected, just like the verdict on the field!”
