Young fans have been denied the chance to bag autographs from their Manchester United idols outside the club's Carrington training ground.
A large sign has been erected telling supporters that players are no longer allowed to stop on the road for signings.
It reads: 'Players are not permitted to stop and sign autographs due to danger on the road. No congregating.'
On Wednesday both manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and new man Daniel James were pictured reaching out of their car windows to make kids' dreams come true.
But these scenes will now become part of the past outside United's training complex.
United moved to Carrington - less than 10 miles from Old Trafford - in 2000.
Sir Alex Ferguson was unhappy with the lack of lack of privacy at their previous training ground, The Cliff, and specifically with the number of autograph and picture requests for his players.
