Pogba wears Dybala's No 21 Argentina as Man United star enjoys LA

Paul Pogba has done pretty well at letting others revel in his and France's World Cup success so far.

Pogba has posed for selfies with fans and relaxed with friends in Los Angeles over the past week.

He is enjoying his time off before he starts an individual pre-season fitness regime to get himself back up to speed ahead of Manchester United's new season.

His team-mates are never far from his mind. Earlier this week he spent time with United midfielder Marouane Fellaini.

But it turns out he doesn't forget about his former colleagues either.

Pogba and forward Paulo Dybala became good friends at Juventus before the former left to join United.

Dybala didn't spend as much time as he would have liked at the World Cup.

Argentina were beaten in the first knockout round 4-3 by France.

Dybala made just one appearance at the tournament finals in Russia.

His tournament contrasted Pogba's massively. The 25-year-old made six appearances and scored once on the way to winning the World Cup.

Maybe that was why Pogba decided to wear Dybala's Argentina shirt complete with the No 21.

Meanwhile, Pogba has been congratulated but United boss Jose Mourinho hasn't exactly got too excited.

Twice Mourinho has been asked about Pogba's success with France in Russia, and twice he has used the opportunity to make veiled comments about the player upping his game to a similar level for United.

Asked again how United can get the best out of Pogba, Mourinho told ESPN: 'I don't think it's about us getting the best out of him, it's about him giving the best he has to give.'
