Porto stadium announcer calls Ronaldo “PIG” after Champions League match

Cristiano Ronaldo was called a 'pig' in a bizarre social media outburst from the fan liaison officer at Porto and the Juventus superstar's sister has hit back with some force.

Juventus beat Porto 3-2 on Tuesday night in a Champions League classic as it wasn't enough to keep them in the competition with the Portuguese side going through to the quarter-finals on away goals after a 4-4 aggregate draw. Fernando Saul, the supporters liaison officer, had posted an offensive post aimed at Ronaldo, but also his family, specifically his mother Dolores. He also referred to a 1984 defeat to Juventus in the European Cup Winners’'Cup final in Basel in the odd post.

Saul wrote on Instagram: 'Let's take revenge on Basel against the Italian thieves. 'Let's take revenge on the pig Ronaldo for what he did to O Dragao. What a proud breed, this is Porto. Now I'm waiting for the video of Dolores and the others toothless family members.’

Ronaldo's sister Katia Aveiro responded, writing: 'You are the pig!
