REVEALED: Man Utd made Eintracht Frankfurt contact for Daichi Kamada

Manchester United expressed interest in Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Daichi Kamada on deadline day yesterday.

As United were negotiating terms with Bayern Munich for Austria attacker Marcel Sabitzer, they also made contact with Eintracht Frankfurt for Japan international Kamada.

Off contract in June, Kamada is also a target for Barcelona this season.

In the end, United were able to secure Sabitzer on-loan to the end of the current campaign.

However, they could yet try for Kamada in the coming weeks, with the 26 year-old now free to negotiate pre-contract terms with any interested foreign club.
