Sergio Ramos has been given a golden captain's armband by Luis Rubiales, the president of the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), before Spain's Euro 2020 qualifier with Malta on Friday night.
The award recognises the defender's status as Spain's new all-time record appearance holder after he overtook Iker Casillas in October.
La Roja host Malta in Cadiz with qualification for Euro 2020 already secured.
