Rasmus Hojlund has broken his silence over possible interest from Manchester United in signing him this summer.
The Atalanta striker has been linked with a move to Old Trafford as United look to bolster their forward line ahead of next season.
United boss Erik ten Hag is reportedly in the market for an experienced number nine - hence the club's interest in Harry Kane - as well as a young striker and has earmarked Hojlund as a possible target.
The 20-year-old is currently on international duty with Denmark, with fixtures against Slovenia and Northern Ireland next week and with a busy summer ahead, Hojlund admitted he's taken on a new agent - the same agency that represents Ten Hag.
However, the striker was coy on whether his move of agent was anything to do with an impending transfer.
'It's a trial period and that's all I can say,' he told Tipsbladet ahead of Denmark's Euro 2024 qualifiers.
Hojlund wasn't shy though in commenting on links to United, and admitted it's flattering to be linked with the Premier League side.
'It is a huge club, so I must have done something right if it's rumoured they want me. We have to see what happens.
From what we all hear, I imagine a lot could happen to quite a few strikers this summer, as many clubs are looking for a Number 9.
Something will definitely happen there, and then we'll have to wait and see if I am included in it.
'I am very happy to be with Atalanta and we have qualified for Europe, so now we have to wait and see.'
He did also denied reports that he has had video calls with Ten Hag over a possible move to the club.
The Dane scored nine Serie A goals and racked up four assists in 32 games for Atalanta last season, helping the club clinch a 5th place finish and qualify for the Europa League.
Hojlund also made his international breakthrough in 2023, netting a hat-trick for Denmark in their 3-1 win over Finland in March.

He is just a young dude going for cheap price who is a holder of the ball and will definitely improve under the guidance of ten hag. Please let’s sign him, he is as good as halland with the ball at his feet and he is not an injury prone too. Kane is already made striker but can’t improve and he is at his peak but this boy will do wonders if guided by ten hag.
