His performance would have come as no surprise to Real Madrid, who undoubtedly would have been watching with joy as he gave Barcelona nightmares.

Los Blancos are keen to sign the Frenchman and have been since before his move to PSG, though they were unable to get the deal over the line when he left Monaco.

With his contract at the Parc des Princes set to expire in 2022, Real Madrid's interest has become clear again, and Florentino Perez wants him in the capital.
