Inter may be sniffing around in the hope of signing Luka Modric from Real Madrid but the LaLiga giants are refusing to hide the player in their new kit advertisements.
While Cristiano Ronaldo featured in none of Real's promotional campaign for the 2018/19 season, Modric has been made the focus of one image showing off their third kit.
Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane joined the Croatian as the main men in the advertisements from this latest photoshoot.
And while Madrid may be unhappy with how Modric's future is being dealt with by his agents, they are intent on showing to the world that he remains one of their own.

With Ronaldo gone and Madrid wanting to play a more collective football this new season, their biggest blunder will be to let go of the player that is the fulcrum of their on-field plans. First, he's coming of the back of a strong world cup where he won the best player Award. He has been Madrid's best player in d last 5 years or more after Ronaldo. Selling him will be to compound Lopetegui's woes, given dat he has to lead Madrid into a post-Ronaldo era which itself is a complex job. Modric will give Madrid all d building from d base of midfield that any team in the world will kill for. Moreso, selling a two of ur biggest and two most performing stalwarts sends a message to other clubs that ur house isn't in order and dis transfer market will come circling for even more of ur players. Plus it's trouble for new boys like vinicius Jr, as he can learn loads and loads of d Madrid way from s player like Luka Modric. so I don't see Madrid selling these masterpiece of a footballer
