Real Madrid are reportedly monitoring Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold.
The 25-year-old right back has become a key member of Jurgen Klopp's squad since breaking into the first-team in 2016, helping them win the Champions League and Premier League in recent seasons.
Alexander-Arnold's current contract expires in 2025 and there have been no talks so far over extending his stay at Anfield.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid are monitoring the situation but Liverpool have not indicated any desire to sell.
Alexander-Arnold signed a new four-year deal with the Reds in 2021 and cemented his place as one of the club's highest earners.
As it stands, he will be free to speak with clubs in Europe from January 2025 as Liverpool risk losing him for free.
Since making his debut in 2016, Alexander-Arnold has gone on to make a total of 302 appearances, scoring 19 times.
He has also helped guide the club to Champions League, Premier League, League Cup and FA Cup triumph in that period.
His potential departure would come as a huge blow to Liverpool given that Jurgen Klopp is set to leave at the end of the season.
Alexander-Arnold's season has been disturbed by a knee injury which has seen him miss the last 11 games but is expected to return to fitness in the coming weeks.
Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah's contract also expire in 2025 meaning Richard Hughes has a job at hand to keep hold of the Merseyside club's key players.
Hughes was appointed as Liverpool's new sporting director earlier this week following on from Michael Edwards' return.

With uncertain future ahead of liverpool prior to Klopp impending departure, I am very sure that few key players will leave liverpool. Liverpool FC has no clear direction at the moment and the owner seem not really care much about the future. I foresee a gloomy days of Liverpool FC soon, probably to the extend like Roy Hogson era!
What are you babbling about? Liverpool will be just fine.
