Marcelo will at least see out his contract. People here have a short term memory, he's been one of their best players in the last 5 years and had been incredibly instrumental. One mediocre season where he's been overshadowed by Reguilon doesn't change that. He's even on like 100k a week, could easily has twice that but doesn't care. Bleeds Madrid and I'm sure will prove it again next season.

He's a bit of a hot head and while he did impress, he wasn't anything close to what Real would need. What's his best footballing ability? He's an ok defender, ok attacker, but he's wicked fast, i got to say it. Ferland on the other hand is just better than him in footballing ability and has his athleticism.
