Spanish newspaper AS claims Real Madrid will focus on Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly if Raphael Varane leaves.
There have been increasing reports in recent weeks that Varane could look to move on this summer, particularly for Juventus.
Now AS suggest Zinedine Zidane is already drawing up a plan to replace the France international and that points towards Koulibaly.
Carlo Ancelotti stated only today that K2 would not be leaving the Stadio San Paolo, but the situation could change if the club making the call is Real Madrid.
So far, Napoli and Koulibaly have rejected all proposals from the Premier League, including Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal.
His price-tag is believed to be at least €100m, if not more, and the 27-year-old Senegal international only recently signed a new contract to June 2023.

Koulibaly has everything you'd want from a centre-back in terms of physicality. His stature is ideal, standing at 6ft 1in tall, and that allows him to dominate most opponents when tasked with duels. In addition to being powerful, strong and physically imposing, Koulibaly is also fast. He was voted the best Senegal player of the Year and that's a plus sign. Big clubs like Real Madrid and Manchester United want him for a reason. If he signs for Real Madrid then Varane will go to Manchester United

Everyone wants to buy Koulibaly, and that shows how good he is. I hope he makes the right decision and not make a mistake. Of all the teams after his services, I'd Prefer if he opts for Manchester United cos he will be more appropriated there, less Pressure unlike at Real Madrid where much will be expected of him.
