Nottingham Forest midfielder Remo Freuler has discussed signing for the club in the summer.
Freuler arrived from Atalanta at the start of the season, and was joined by 22 other players.
While Steve Cooper's newly promoted side have endured some growing pains this term, they were beginning to show decent form prior to the World Cup break.
“It wasn't an easy decision," Freuler told Corriere dello Sport.
"In Bergamo I was at home, I felt part of a family, I still have many friends at Atalanta and off the pitch.
“But after seven years I felt the need to change. I was born in 1992, I'm not a kid anymore, I believed the time was right."
