Borussia Dortmund stars Marco Reus and Axel Witsel have reportedly attempted to persuade Jadon Sancho to rejected a move to the Premier League in January.
Bild have claimed that Reus and Witsel, along with Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke, spoke to Sancho following the 3-1 defeat by Barca, which saw Sancho come off the bench to grab a late consolation goal.
The German publication goes on to claim that Dortmund remain hopeful that Sancho will reject a January exit and will remain with the club for the remainder of the season.
It is believed that Sancho feels he is being unfairly treated by the German giants and that he deserves more protection as he is still one of the younger players in the first team.
The England superstar accepts that pressure comes with his reputation but his representatives are understood to be planning on holding talks with the club over their treating of the winger.
It is becoming increasingly clear that Sancho, the former Manchester City youngster, will leave the club in a big-money move next summer.
Barcelona, Liverpool, Manchester United and Real Madrid are among the European giants believed to be leading the race to sign the England superstar.
And now Goal has claimed that Chelsea have joined the race, with the west Londoners considering a club-record bid for the winger.
The Blues currently have a two-window transfer ban, which prevents them from registering new players until next summer.
