They may have been feeling the chill in training, but Borussia Dortmund are red hot right now in both the Bundesliga and the Champions League.
Their stars, including Marco Reus, Axel Witsel and Paco Alcacer, had to wrap up warm against the late November temperatures as they trained on Tuesday.
They went through their drills under the watching eye of manager Lucien Favre before their Champions League Group A clash at home to Club Bruges on Wednesday.
Dortmund are top of their group with nine points, goal difference keeping them above Atletico Madrid, and will reach the knockouts with a point against the Belgians.
They are also going great guns in their domestic league, leading the Bundesliga by four points from second-placed Borussia Monchengladbach, and nine ahead of champions Bayern Munich.
Such is their success so far, other top clubs are circling for their players - Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is reported to have scouted midfielder Axel Witsel on his recent trip to watch the Belgium national team.
One player however who is not enjoying this season is midfielder Shinji Kagawa, who has found first team football hard to come by under Favre.
The Japanese international told Nikkan Sports that he would like to move to La Liga if he cannot break into the Dortmund side.
He said: 'Over the past two to three years, I have always been thinking about what I can do to go to Spain. I cannot end my career as a football player without going to Spain. I absolutely want to achieve that.
'I want to find a solution to this situation. One is to change teams. I have this growing sense of wishing to change my environment and take on new challenges'
