Richarlison prefers Chelsea move over Arsenal, happy to join two others

The Sun claim Everton striker Richarlison is keen on leaving the Toffees – but prefers a move to Chelsea over Arsenal this summer. Richarlison has identified Chelsea as one of three clubs he is willing to join.

Richarlison, 25, has been linked with the exit door after impressing for the Toffees in 2021-22 – but Frank Lampard's men only managing to finish in 16th place. Everton need to sell in order to comply with Financial Fairplay rules.

The Brazil international had a hand in 16 goals during 21-22 and is likely to command a huge fee of £65million this summer. Clubs will look to negotiate, for a player Carlo Ancelotti once described as “fantastic”.

Reports even claim that Richarlison has changed his agents in order to secure a move this summer. Arsenal are interested, as per the Sun's report – but that the Brazilian prefers Chelsea, PSG or Real Madrid.

Tottenham have also been loosely linked with the ex-Watford attacker – but that seems more unlikely with Fabio Paratici concentrating his efforts on a defender at the present time.

So, Arsenal or Chelsea – or Madrid, or PSG? Arsenal desperately need a striker with Eddie Nketiah the only remaining no.9 after the 21-22 season. Richarlison would be a top addition, but they lack Champions League football.

Chelsea still have Romelu Lukaku, but he could return to Inter. Richarlison would be a good replacement. Madrid and PSG would see Richarlison play second fiddle. So he might have to wait for Lukaku to leave Stamford Bridge.
