Cristiano Ronaldo took the time to make the day of one lucky young Manchester United supporter on his way to training this morning.
The fan managed to attract the attention of the superstar forward with a homemade sign outside the entrance to United's Carrington complex.
And after Ronaldo briefly pulled over, the supporter, named Callum, was able to a take a picture he will certainly remember for the rest of his life.
His message, which was written across a piece of cardboard, read: 'Ronaldo, please could you stop? It would make my weekend.'
A picture of his idol was also plastered on the top, and all of his dreams soon came true with Ronaldo stopping for the selfless gesture.
In typical fashion, the veteran forward is believed to have been the first United player to report for training the day before their clash with West Ham.
It is little wonder that members of the fanbase are so desperate to meet Ronaldo, especially in light of his superb start to life in his second spell.
The former Real Madrid and Juventus talisman has already scored three goals, netting a brace against Newcastle and once against Young Boys.
That clash, however, left United reeling after a shock defeat, and Ronaldo cut an irritated figure on the pitch and then on the touchline.
After being taken off in the second half, Ronaldo occasionally moved behind manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the dugout to bark out instructions.
His antics were questioned by his former team-mate Rio Ferdinand, who says he would have told the all-time great to take a seat on the bench.
'If I'm the manager, I've got to be honest, I'm telling him to sit down,' Ferdinand told BT Sport during their post-match coverage in midweek.
'I get it. You know, with Cristiano people go, "Oh it's bravado, it's for the fans". He's just a passionate guy. He wants to win, he's desperate to win, and he can't hold it in.
'If that means he has to go up there and stand next to the manager, shouting instructions etc etc, so be it.
'When it's someone of his standing and stature, how can you argue with it?'
Ronaldo is expected to start once again against West Ham when United look to keep their spot at the top of the table, and will be relied upon to make a big impact.
But Jamie Carragher, writing in his column for The Telegraph, has questioned whether his United homecoming will move them closer to pushing for the title.
'For all the understandable euphoria at Old Trafford with the return of Cristiano Ronaldo, his signing causes as many problems as it solves for Solskjaer,' he said.
'Ronaldo could prove to be a better signing for the Premier League than for Manchester United.'
