Juventus have identified Luka Jovic as a potential replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo after they agreed to sell the striker to Manchester United for £12.8million.
United announced on Friday afternoon that Ronaldo would be returning to the club where he previously won three Premier League titles, one Champions League, two League Cups and one FA Cup.
As a result, Juventus will look to fill the void left by the striker - who scored 29 Serie A goals last season despite a disappointing fourth-place finish.
According to AS, Juventus have identified Jovic as the man to replace the Portugal international.
The 23-year-old striker - who joined the Galacticos in the summer of 2019 for £62m - has struggled to adapt to life at the Spanish giants.
He only made eight starts - totalling 806 minutes of action - during the 2019-20 campaign.
As a result, Jovic agreed to re-join Eintracht Frankfurt on a loan deal for the end of the 2020-2021 season.
Looking ahead to the 2021-2022 season, it is unlikely that Jovic will get into the Real Madrid starting XI.
The striker is not even among Carlo Ancelotti's first choice substitutes for the coming season.
Therefore, Real are said to be open to selling the 23-year-old for around £30m this summer.
Should a deal for through, Jovic will be playing alongside the likes of Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata - increasing his changes of rejuvenating his career.
