Roy Keane's 'screaming' rant at Man Utd flop Kleberson revealed by Djemba-Djemba

Former Manchester United midfielder Eric Djemba-Djemba has lifted the lid on Roy Keane's 'screaming' rant at Red Devils flop Kleberson.

Fiery former United captain Keane was one of football's most notorious hardmen and never gave an inch during his trophy-laden career.

Djemba-Djemba, who scored just two goals in 39 appearances in two years at Old Trafford, has recalled the time Keane launched into a furious tirade at Brazilian midfielder Kleberson.

'Roy Keane had a right go at Kleberson! Kleberson looked like he didn't want to play with his body language, and wanted to play slowly,' Djemba-Djemba told bettingapps.com.

'I remember one Champions League game at Old Trafford, we went into the dressing room and Roy Keane was screaming at him!

'He said "You need to wake-up! You need to give everything, you need to tackle! Why don't you want to want to play? You just won The World Cup! What's happened? You need to play better!"

'It was definitely scary for Kleberson. He was always smiling, and was still smiling when Keane had a go at him, which would have made Keane even more angry.'

Kleberson won the World Cup with Brazil in 2002 and joined United a year later in a £6.5million move.

But he failed to impress at Old Trafford and departed just after two seasons for Turkish side Besiktas with only two goals from 30 appearances.

Djemba-Djemba and Kleberson played at United between 2003 and 2005 in which they won the FA Cup alongside Keane.

Djemba-Djemba has hailed his former team-mate, insisting that Keane and Paul Scholes would have kept current midfield stars Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba out of the United side when he was at the club.

'Fernandes and Pogba would definitely have been on the bench behind Keane and Scholes,' he added.

'Those two were amazing together. Roy Keane was like a coach, like a manager to the team.'
