Juventus defender Daniele Rugani has recovered from coronavirus, but his agent warns the future is up in the air. “We have no news on negotiations, but anything can happen in football.”
The centre-back was the first Serie A player to officially be diagnosed with COVID-19, but was given the all-clear last week.
“Daniele is fine now, as he was in self-isolation for a month. Now he is back in his home in Turin, where he is doing well and cant start training,” agent Davide Torchia told Radio Punto Nuovo.
There were some reports Rugani could be used as part of an exchange deal with Juventus for Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik.
“We have no news on negotiations of any kind, but we know that anything can happen in football. If you are intelligent, then an exchange of players can help the economic impact of the coronavirus emergency.
“If Juve didn’t consider Rugani up to the job, they wouldn’t have kept him for all these years. Maurizio Sarri already asked for him at both Napoli and Chelsea.
“It’s true, he is not a regular from the start, but how could anyone break into a team with the two best Italian defenders in circulation?
