Leroy Sane was spotted appearing to hide his lower lip as Bayern Munich touched down in Germany following the team's 3-0 Champions League defeat at the hands of Manchester City.
The German forward is said to have been punched by team-mate Sadio Mane in a dressing room altercation that took place after the final whistle.
With a baseball cap pulled over his brow, the player – who had presented City with the most problems on the night, but failed to find the back of the net – drew in his lower lip as if to hide any injury he might have picked up after coming to blows with his team-mate.
In pictures obtained by Sky Sport Germany, Sane stared resolutely forward as the team left the airport.
As reported by Sportsmail, Bayern players had to separated the two wingers after an on-pitch argument spilled into the tunnel.
Mane, who joined Bayern from Liverpool during last summer's transfer window, is believed to have punched the former City man and left him with a bloody lip before the intervention of their team-mates.
The Senegal international is then said to have been picked up by a separate vehicle from Munich Airport, whereas Sane, who is pictured in front of team-mate Jamal Musiala, caught the coach with the rest of the squad.
The fracas will present manager Thomas Tuchel with a sizeable and immediate challenge as Bayern look for an instant bounce-back from their defeat against Pep Guardiola's side.
Bayern, who lead the Bundesliga by only two points, are set to face Hoffenheim on Saturday afternoon, and with the promise of a Champions League trophy this season dangling by a thread, must win the tie to shore up their hold at the top of the table.
Rumours of division in the Bayern dressing room swirled as former manager Julian Nagelsmann was sacked last month.
Unrest over a dip in form and Nagelsmann's approach saw tempers flare, leading to the 35-year-old manager getting embroiled in a row with Mane over playing time.
Players were said to be shocked that Nagelsmann, who has since been courted by Chelsea and Tottenham, was reportedly intimidated by his player, in an incident that took place after the side's 2-0 Champions League win over PSG.
Getting his summer signing firing was a task at the top of Tuchel's in-tray after his appointment in the international break, with Mane having failed to distinguish himself at the Allianz this season.
The former Champions League winner has scored 11 times in 29 appearances and seen his playing time eroded as a result.
But Tuchel was confident that he would be able to coax Mane back to his best, saying in his first press conference: 'He scored 20, 30 goals every year for Liverpool and was an absolute key player there. His quality is beyond any doubt.
'Even at his age, it always takes time to acclimate after a change of clubs. That can take time. There's no doubt about his quality and what it can bring us.
'It's about trust and patience so he can get back into the rhythm. A goal usually helps the confidence.'

When you think of it well, Sane is lucky to be walking bcos Mane is/was still fasting. A fully energetic Mane's punch, a black, good punch, Sane would have been hospitalised.

Leroy Sane Dad is black from Senegal. Which means, if Leroy should be himself, he would not only consider Mane a teammate but a brother too. Leroy was the name of a coach who coached Senegal during the days of Sulayman (sane’s father). So his father named his son in honor of his coach. Look at Sane well. He wants to be considered a white than black. But we all know he is black. That’s the original him. But with the weather and some good skincare products, he looks like white and wants to be considered white. A sheep can only be a sheep not a wolf. Back to my point. I am not condoning assault nor violence, but we’ve known Mane professionally for some years now. Notably his years in Liverpool. He is aggressive but not violent. If Sane was punched by Mane who we know is not violent, punched by his own countryman, then Sane said the worst. Do you know what the “worst” in football means? Go and ask Materrazi what he said to Zidane in 2006 World Cup final. Sometimes the only way to be right is to be violent for once.

So many idiots online. What joy do you derive from assault? If a Muller had punched Mane, you and your folks would have claimed Racism 😡. Irrespective of what happened between them, Mane had no right to Punch him. That was a classic example of immaturity.
