DOKU "PROUD" AFTER RECORD-BREAKING BOURNEMOUTH DISPLAY
Jeremy Doku has expressed his pride after becoming the youngest player in Premier League history to have five goal involvements in one game, scoring once and assisting four in the 6-1 win over the Cherries.
Doku opened the scoring after 30 minutes, before assisting Bernardo Silva and Manuel Akanji to have us 3-0 ahead at half-time.
The winger then set up Phil Foden and Bernardo for the second time, before Nathan Ake headed in a late sixth.
The Belgian also now holds the title for the youngest player to register four assists in a single Premier League match.
"I'm very proud," he said. "In this team it is so easy, there's a lot of movement.
"Everyone is top. When you play with top players, it's easy to find the right pass and find the right time to do something.
"Honestly, today, I knew when I had to go and I found the right balance today, that was the most important thing.
"I Improve every day, in the training sessions, everything. I can see it already.
"All my assists were different, it's a good thing, as long as it's an assist, I'm happy."
The 21-year-old also gave a deeper insight into his fabulous assist for our second goal of the afternoon at the Etihad Stadium and stressed the importance of taking each game as it comes.
