He might because Barca are willing to pay big money because of him to strengthen our defence, umtiti has been facing injury problems, pique is ageing, lenglet can do it alone, we need the youngsters who will become great Future and one of is de ligt.

Matthijs de Ligt is a great defender and will he be expensive? yes he could cost any team £70m or even £100m because of his age he is only 18 years old and he is Ajax Captain but FCB boarder always take things very slow they dont go and get a player just like that they like to play around and try to Negotiate and all that and another thing is Barca fans thinks just because of Johan cruyff they could get players from Ajax easily but its not like that any more cuz last year when Barcelona made an insulting offer for Davinson Sánchez Ajax Rejected the DeAL and accepted spurs Tottenham DeAL so Ramos Is getting old and at FC Bayern Munich they could be searching for a New CB to replace boateng so they ether act quick or De ligt would be gone

Yes he could cost any team's [78m or even [90m because of his age he is only 18years.So I wish Fc Barcelona will have his signature of the Dutchman. Because now Feb. CB is weak especially for pique. So Barcelona need a good defender like de ligt.

Yeah. The quality they have is huge, but that does not mean that they are not still prone to mistakes. And to jump directly in the Barca / RM bath, I think it is not wise.

He needs to wait till Pique shows signs of decline or retires and also to collect more experience in Eridivisie otherwise he will end up being second string like what happened to Mathieu and Vermalean, especially considering how young he is a team don't just start an 18 year old right off the bat.....

Pique has become inconsistent offlate, I won't say decline, because, I know, when he wants to perform & is motivated he can out smart the best of strikers, but maybe, that he's turning 32 in a couple of months, it would be best to bring in in & let him settle, & if he has the quality, he can outshine Lenglet & start ahead
Thing is, I have a feeling a lot of coaches actually prefer a team up of an older more experienced leader type player and a younger dynamic player at the back. Like for example Napoli got Koulibaly and Albiol, PSG got Silva and Marquinos, Pool got Van Dijk and Gomez, Bayern use Boateng and Sule etc as pairings. I wouldn't be surprised to see Pique as a starter for 2 more seasons since the top defenders don't decline fully till like 34+, some even survive past that aka the Juve defence.

malcom, lenglet, arthur etc they already have plenty of player's not having proper playing time & wanna add de legit he should join other clubs where he gets playing time, where he'll be valued. team who needs proper defender like arsenal, bayern, etc
