Manchester City legend Sergio Aguero has heaped praise on national hero Lionel Messi.
Aguero, who was a teammate of Messi with Argentina for many years, believes the latter is a better goalscorer than Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Messi vs. Ronaldo debate is one that has always piqued the interest of football fans, pundits, and ex-players.
"Look where he scores the goal from," Aguero said via Medio Tiempo when watching a compilation of the best Messi and Ronaldo goals.
"Come on. All free-kick goals and pure luck. Messi's are all at the angle, stupid.
“But what does [Ronaldo] do? Goalkeeper's fault. I think Raul has better goals, [Karim] Benzema I think he has better ones."
