Sevilla have officially announced this Thursday the names of their five captains: Jesus Navas, Daniel Carrico, Sergio Escudero, Gabriel Mercado and Ever Banega.
Navas, a player who "has worn the Sevilla shirt more times than anyone, with 443 matches in 12 seasons" is the team's first captain, as has been evident since the start of the season.
Meanwhile, Daniel Carrico, now in his sixth season with the club, is the next in line having played 122 games.
Escudero, with 116 matches under his belt, and Mercado, with 88, are the third and fourth captains respectively, whilst the fifth is Ever Banega, who has represented Sevilla 153 times.
