Yann Sommer feels rejuvenated by his move to Inter Milan.
The Switzerland goalkeeper has arrived this summer from Bayern Munich and has so far not conceded a goal.
“This is a new challenge and being first choice has given even more enthusiasm for this stage in my career," he told SRF.
“It was a completely new experience at Bayern Munich, I learned a lot, but now I have come to Inter to be the Number 1 and that changes many things."
Sommer, 35, added: “I feel in great shape and want to play football for a long time to come. Milan is also a wonderful city and I feel at ease here, I am already starting to understand the language pretty well, even if I still don't speak it."
