Tottenham will have to do without Heung-Min Son for three games next month after he was called up for the Asian Cup.
The 26-year-old has been picked by South Korea, and Spurs have announced that he will join up with them after the Premier League match against Manchester United on January 13.
That means he is certain to miss the league games against Fulham and Watford.
And he will also be absent for the Carabao Cup semi-final second-leg against Chelsea on January 22.
The tournament runs from January 5 to February 1 in the United Arab Emirates.
If South Korea reach the final, there is also a chance Son will be unavailable for the game against Newcastle United on February 2.
Son's nation have been drawn against China, the Phillipines and the Kyrgyz Republic in Group C.
He will not play in the first two group games and will instead join up with South Korea for their last group match, which is against China on January 16.
The forward has already missed a segment of this season in order to play for South Korea, featuring at the Asian Games.
The gold medal South Korea won there means that he will not have to partake in 21 months of military service, which is an obligation for all able-bodied males before they turn 28.
Son featured on Wednesday night as Tottenham beat rivals Arsenal 2-0 in the Carabao Cup quarter-final.

No offense Lovren mate, but your DMs come nowhere near Gilberto. No one in your midfield is remotely Patrick Vieira's quality. Not to mention Robertson is half the player Cashley was and don't even get me started on your strikers compared to Henry and Bergkamp. Your shite bunch of cunts was much worse than Preston's invincibles but you still did it. ~yaaaaaaaaaaaaaawn~
You sound more like people living in the past

Every season that a team starts off with a nice unbeaten streak, people start coming with the invincibles talk before it even hits xmas. The hardest periods have yet to come, first the busy xmas period with games coming thick and fast, then in Feb/March and potentially beyond, the juggling act between the league and European knock out games.

I don't think any added hope will be dashed whether lovren says this or not. He is aware that going unbeaten is possible and it will be tough. Even if he, or klopp for that matter say that it is impossible to go the season unbeaten, the fact that it's possible will still be at the back of every fans mind. And if they lose, it will be devastating all the same, whether lovren says this or not. It's not very insightful or needed for lovren to say this, but why is it wrong?

Why is it delusional? They’re already 17 games through Steady on, let’s get through Wolves first. There’s a reason why only 1 team in PL history has ever gone unbeaten so far. Read my initial comment. I highlight the gam on Friday as being key

Arsenal are no different this season to the last few years under Wenger. Unbeaten run fir 5th yes 5th in PL now two defeats back to back show them fir what they are. Thursdaynal FC. Spurs are now much better team and improving. Arsenal are 5th level. Get used to it. Sours are now better.

This is ANOTHER reason why Pochetinos has to think 5 TIMES before even thinking of joining this team. Pochetinos makes good money, new stadium is on the way, he has one of the most talented, energetic, attractive teams in Europe. So, why would he go to a training ground where all what they do is argue and troll their own manager on social media. DO NOT go Mr. Pochetinos. Liverpool fan....
