Bobby Duncan has put pen to paper on his Liverpool contract after they fended off Europe's top clubs to snap up the England youth international.
Liverpool landed the 17-year-old back in June on a three-year-deal after a tussle with the likes of Juventus, Tottenham Hotspur and Monaco for the former Manchester City starlet.
Duncan though has signed for the outfit once captained by his cousin and club Steven Gerrard, revealing his delight at signing for the team he supported as a boy.
'I’m delighted to announce that I’ve signed for Liverpool Football Club,' Duncan said on Instagram.
'Waited so long for this day to finally come, a club I’ve grew up watching and supported all my life ....my boy hood club, my dream !!!! Now let's get down to business #YNWA'.
Duncan, who had been with City since he was 10, walked out on the club last August after growing frustrated with a lack of opportunities.
Despite City retaining him on their books, Duncan instead trained with Wigan last season, featuring in behind closed doors friendlies.
As a result, Liverpool have had to pay City a £200,000 compensation fee for the star who back in May helped England reach the semi-final of the Under 17 European Championship.
