Roberto Inglese is heading back to Parma, on a €2m loan with obligation to buy for €18m plus bonuses, after failing to get a game for Napoli.
According to both Sky Sport Italia and Sportitalia, the deal was struck this morning.
It’s a comeback for the 27-year-old, who Napoli purchased from Chievo for €12m in 2017, leaving him on loan at the Bentegodi for that season.
He then went out on loan to Parma for €3m last term, scoring nine goals in 25 Serie A appearances.
This move had included an option to buy for €25m, but it seems as if the Ducali have successfully renegotiated the deal.
Inglese will now go back to Parma on loan for €2m, with obligation to buy at the end of the season for €18m plus another €2m in potential performance-related bonuses.
The centre-forward leaves Napoli two years after his signature, without ever playing for the club.

If he performs as he did last season then 20 will be worth paying, easy. Parma needs to progress and be smart with their transfers which they are.... need reinforcements in the defense mostly.
