Text in picture: What did Messi & Felix talk about in head-to-head altercation?

Whilst many were unsure of how competitive the new format of the Supercopa de Espana would prove to be, Joao Felix and Lionel Messi showed their respectively fierce natures as the pair were involved in an altercation during the clash between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid in Jeddah. 

With both teams fighting for a spot in Sunday's final against Real Madrid, tempers boiled over in the first half with a small brawl involving Jordi Alba, Luis Suarez and Stefan Savic, in addition to the aforementioned duo. 

Felix wasn't impressed by Alba appearing to poke his finger into the Portuguese playmaker's face, and he responded by swiping the Spaniard's arm away. 

Gerard Pique then attempted to interview, but it was Messi who approached Felix, yet the teenager wasn't overawed by the iconic footballer, and there was then a head-to-head between the duo in what could be one of the year's more dramatic images. 

With this all happening so close to half-time, cooler heads prevailed as the referee didn't show a single red card, and Renan Lodi then acted as peacemaker, guiding Messi down into the tunnel.
