Real Madrid are improving with every match they play and that is also the case with two players on their left flank: Vinicius Junior and Ferland Mendy.
The Brazilian and Frenchman were only on the pitch together for one half against Atletico Madrid on Saturday, yet they took just 11 minutes to show their understanding on the pitch.
Vinicius played a cute pass in behind two Atletico defenders for Mendy to run on to and the Frenchman then crossed to Karim Benzema, who fired home to give Real Madrid the lead.
Given that Vinicius is 19 and Mendy is 24, this could be a partnership down the left that Los Blancos can rely on in the years to come.
