The steward Ronaldo hit with a ball reveals argument: He told me where to go

The steward that Cristiano Ronaldo hit with a wayward shot at Young Boys' stadium has revealed that they had met before and argued, with the pair even exchanging insults.

Marisa Nobile has told of how they met when Ronaldo still played for Real Madrid and that he did not make a good impression on her at all.

"When he played here for Real Madrid, I ended up cursing him. I didn't know who he was," Nobile said to Globo Esporte.

"I said: 'The game is over, you keep running here on the field and people don't leave'. He continued, and I was already very tired. He sent me to talk to the coach.

"I came back: 'So, is it going to end or not? This is Switzerland, dear!' He told me where to go. I said: 'What a rude guy'. Until yesterday, I didn't like Cristiano Ronaldo."

When the pair crossed paths again on Tuesday, it may have seemed like their feud was set to continue, but Nobile ended up a Ronaldo convert.

"It wasn't revenge, no! Don't think it was revenge," said Nobile.

"He was holding my hand, stroking my face, asking, 'Are you okay, are you okay?' Now I'm a number one Ronaldete!"

The Portuguese forward gave the steward his jersey after she apologised for their earlier meeting and told him she's a fan.
