Two AC Milan players tested positive for COVID-19 during routine testing on Saturday and both will now self-isolate.
A club statement confirmed the players as French full back Theo Hernandez and Turkish midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu.
"AC Milan announces that Hakan Çalhanolu and Theo Hernandez tested positive for a molecular swab carried out yesterday to all the whole team, while all other test results were negative," read a statement on Milan's official website.
"The Club promptly informed the health authorities. The asymptomatic players remained in isolation at home.
"All the other team members will continue to be monitored closely according to the federal protocol."
Milan top Serie A, three points ahead of Inter and travel to face Cagliari on Monday.
