Gary Neville was left unimpressed with Manchester United, despite beating Tottenham 3-2 at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.
Cristiano Ronaldo rolled back the years as he scored all three of United's goals in the Premier League clash, including a sensational long range strike and a thumping header to win the game.
However, Neville was left unconvinced over United's overall performance and said that they were 'not very good', even though they won.
Speaking after the game, Neville said: 'It was a strange game at times in the second half. But obviously, Cristiano Ronaldo was absolutely sensational.
'What a response from last weekend's poor display but also the situation with him where it looked like he was left out injured.'
'They were not very good, I have to say that. The moments in the game were magical and the fans are absolutely buzzing because they have seen Cristiano Ronaldo and they feel like they've seen something special.
‘But in terms of performance, if it is Spurs scoring that late goal, United fans will be going home saying: ‘How bad were we today?’
‘But big moments happen and the big player turned up and ultimately that is send them home happy, but it wasn’t a great performance.’
The win moved Ralf Rangnick’s into fourth but have played four more games than Arsenal who are just below the Red Devils.
Ronaldo's hat-trick meant that the Portuguese forward became the leading goalscorer of all time, surpassing Josef Bican's record.
The legendary attacker now stands alone, above the likes of Pele, Romario and Lionel Messi, on 807 goals, according to FIFA records, with his accumulation of goals coming from his time at Sporting Lisbon, United, Real Madrid, Juventus and Portugal.
He now has 136 goals and counting for United, adding to his 115 for Portugal, five for Sporting, 101 for Juventus and 450 for Madrid.

Tottenham wasn't good either, they didn't created much chances and didn't scored any goal from open play, they were just passing the ball around and running like mad dogs.

Spurs decided to attack man utd probably they think Ronaldo is finished and Bruno was not playing. I doubt Liverpool will be that rash. likely they will be tactical, keep possession and pick utd defence like wht MC does. Ronaldo gives a bonus of +3 but mcquire gives a -3 penalty...[Crylaugh]

DONT SPEAK TOO SOON. Draw 0-0 at home to Watford, Lost 4 - 1 last week to City now win 3- 2 against Spurs at home . Out of 9 points United get 4 points. Don't seems to be that great.

Gary Neville is the one ruining the Manchester United with his bad comments. If the club can shut his mouth up,the club will be improved. believe me you,it is not happening in the other clubs, where someone who wasn't a good footballer during his time and was not even a good coach when he was coaching one of Lal liga club. Ask him, what was his performance as a coach then,if it easy to play and to coach. My brothers and sisters, let's open our eyes,do not even listen to Gary Neville's comments again. What was his comments on Maguire... nothing special!

He's paid to air out the reality, take it or leave it. One victory doesn't make the team so much better coz the next game should be a different story. The team is trying, the team isn't that solid yet.

I wonder if this very guy was that good a player! When u listen to him it’s like someone who was just the best but nah…. He’s just too noisy, a hater and his shame n pride as well simply won’t let him admit the fact that United played very well! Note that he didn’t talk about Maguire …. Nor appreciate Fred’s performance, Matiç’s as well!
he's talking the truth. well some part of it . they need to bring that steam and character in big matches like against man city and Liverpool and..... it's too early to praise them yet . because we always see them perform against side like these then next game they go back to usual

Gary Neville always speaking negative things about Manchester United team After all during his playing days he was not the best player. He was playing because he was a British that’s so.

Performance from 1-10, I would give 5.5!! If these were the players playing at Real Madrid, they could been sold or benched forever. I feel like MUN takes the club for granted!! Pogba, Maguire, and their crossing absolutely sucks! Glad Bruno didn’t play today. That guy gives up very easily and gets frustrated throughout the game!!
