Hugo Lloris has been gifted a signed shirt from his Tottenham Hotspur team-mates - including wantaway striker Harry Kane - after the Frenchman passed 300 Premier League appearances for the club.

Lloris, 34, put in a Man of the Match performance as Nuno Espirito Santo's side made it two league wins from two with a gritty victory over Wolves at Molineux on Sunday.

The French stopper has been a stalwart at Spurs since arriving in North London nine years ago and is a popular figure in the dressing room, showcased on Tuesday as his team-mates contributed a signed shirt at Hotspur Way.

A beaming Lloris was photographed holding the framed shirt with the number 300 and Lloris printed on the back, as the goalkeeper was joined by the likes of Dele Alli, Son Heung-min and Kane, who is in the midst of an ugly transfer saga.

Kane is eyeing the exit door as the England captain bids to finally clinch silverware having been starved of trophies during his time at Tottenham. Manchester City have been heavily linked with a move for the striker although Daniel Levy has held firm at the negotiating table.

The Spurs talisman, who made his first appearance of the season off the bench on Sunday, was pictured next to Matt Doherty and Ben Davies in the squad photograph, while manager Santo was not photographed among his team.

Lloris was also pictured holding the framed gift alongside Levy, who Kane contends entered a 'gentleman's agreement' to allow him to leave this summer in the event that they had not secured Champions League football.

Lloris has faced doubts in recent years having made a handful of unconvincing performances, showed his value to the club at Molineux to keep Wolves out in another bold performance for Spurs.

The Frenchman insisted that he will not waste time reflecting on his service to the club and is fully focused on steering Spurs up the table as the North Londoners bid to return to Champions League football.

'The most important thing today is the win, the three points,' he told the club's official website when asked about his milestone. 'We are still in the process, trying to get as much confidence as we can. We can feel we are growing up a team, and that's a good feeling.'

'Yes, I'm really proud, but I'm not really looking at the numbers. I'm more focussed on the start of the season, to be honest, to make sure everyone is giving his best for the team.

'But, of course, I can be proud because when I signed, I couldn't think that I would play 300 games in the Premier League for the club, so that's a very good achievement, a personal achievement, but again there is still a lot to do ahead of me and I need to make sure I am ready to give my best for the team.'
