Tottenham Hotspur are preparing for the first North London derby of the season as they face Arsenal on Sunday afternoon at the Emirates Stadium.
It has been a topsy-turvy start to the season for Nuno Espirito Santo's side, as three wins from their first three Premier League fixtures were followed by consecutive 3-0 defeats to Crystal Palace and Chelsea.
As a result, they have slipped from first place just before the international break at the end of August to 10th place, and will be looking to start to climb back up the table on Sunday.
However, they face a daunting task, as they will face a resurgent Arsenal side at a ground where they have struggled badly down the years.
Tottenham's Emirates record
Since Arsenal moved to the Emirates Stadium from Highbury in the summer of 2006, Tottenham have only come away with one victory in the Premier League; a 3-2 comeback victory in November 2011.
They have come away from the Emirates heavily beaten on a number of occasions, most notably when Arsenal secured consecutive 5-2 victories over their arch rivals in the 2011/12 and 2012/13 campaigns.
Last season was a similar story, as Tottenham fell to a 2-1 defeat in a match where the scoreline could have been far wider in the Gunners' favour.
Nuno Espirito Santo knows that victory on Sunday could kick-start his side's season, but defeat will only increase the gloomy atmosphere around the club that has increased significantly in the last two weeks.
