Goal takes a look at the biggest transfer news and rumours from the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A and beyond
Zlatan rejected $100m China offer
Zlatan Ibrahimovic turned down a $100 million offer from China in favour of completing a move to the LA Galaxy, according to Sports Illustrated.
The Swedish striker left Manchester United last month and subsequently finalised a long-anticipated move to the MLS side.
Ibrahimovic is expected to earn $3m over the course of his two-year Galaxy deal after rejecting the eye-watering sums being offered in the Chinese Super League.
Man Utd to make €30m Ghoulam bid
Manchester United are ready to make an opening bid of €30 million for Napoli defender Faouzi Ghoulam, according to RMC Sport.
Jose Mourinho is expected to sign a new left-back in the summer and is targeting a move for Ghoulam, who is currently recovering from a knee injury.
Chelsea and Manchester City have previously been interested in the Algeria international, who is under contract at Napoli until 2022, and United could face competition from fellow Premier League clubs in the summer.
Madrid have Hazard doubts
Real Madrid currently have reservations about pushing ahead with a bid for Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard in the summer, reports the Evening Standard.
Hazard has been linked with a big-money move to the Santiago Bernabeu at the end of the season as Madrid consider their next Galactico signing.
However, Hazard’s recent dip in form has prompted Madrid to have second thoughts over a summer bid as Chelsea try to agree a new contract with the Belgium international.
Barca consider Lenglet as Umtiti replacement
Barcelona are looking at Sevilla centre-back Clement Lenglet as a potential replacement for Samuel Umtiti, according to Sport.
Umtiti's future with Barca is up in the air as the French defender continues to seek out an improved contract.
And the Catalans are considering Umtiti's 22-year-old countryman as a possible alternative, with Lenglet impressing in La Liga and the Champions League this term.
Spurs consider £50m De Ligt deal
Tottenham are ready to consider a £50 million offer for Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt in the summer, claims football.london.
De Ligt is one of the best teenage talents in world football and has already attracted interest from the likes of Spurs’ local rivals Arsenal, as well as Barcelona.
But, with doubts surrounding the future of Toby Alderweireld, Spurs could look to reunite De Ligt with his former Ajax team-mate Davinson Sanchez at the end of the season.
Liverpool monitoring Torres
Liverpool are keeping an eye on Valencia striker Ferran Torres, according to Guillem Balague of Sky Sports.
The 18-year-old recently signed a new deal with Los Che through 2021, which includes a €100 million release clause.
Torres has been given his Valencia senior debut this season, making seven La Liga appearances and taking part in three Copa del Rey matches.
Asensio fires Madrid warning
Marco Asensio is ready to leave Real Madrid, if he is not considered as a starter in the club’s biggest games of the season, claims Don Balon.
The Spain international wants to be involved in the most important fixtures in Madrid’s calendar and does not want to be starting such matches on the substitutes’ bench.
If he is regularly left out of the big matches, then Asensio is willing to move, with Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain all admirers.
Chelsea chasing Turkish GK prodigy
Chelsea have stepped up their efforts to land 17-year-old Turkish goalkeeper Berke Ozer, according to The Sun.
Ozer has already been called up by Turkey's senior national team, and has made his debut for Turkish second-division side Altinordu.
Manchester City and Barcelona have also been credited with an interest in Ozer, who has been likened to AC Milan standout Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Real Sociedad after Benitez
La Liga side Real Sociedad are hoping to land Newcastle's Rafa Benitez as their new manager, according to the Mirror.
Benitez has led a threadbare Magpies squad to 12th place in the Premier League this season in an impressive managerial performance.
And with interest from abroad, Benitez is likely to have more leverage as he aims to convince the Newcastle board to spend on the squad in the summer.
Juve still have Can fear
Juventus are still worried they could miss out on the signing of Liverpool midfielder Emre Can, claims Calciomercato.com.
Can is out of contract at Liverpool at the end of the season and Juve are favourites to sign the Germany international on a five-year deal.
However, with Can yet to give his final agreement, Juve fear the likes of the player’s former club Bayern Munich, Manchester City or Real Madrid could steal in for his signature.
Barca risk losing Man City target
Barcelona risk losing Robert Navarro after Manchester City made an offer for the midfield sensation, reports Sport.
Navarro turns 16 next week and Barcelona have yet to make a concrete proposal for a player also attracting interest from Arsenal, Juventus and Monaco.
If Barca fail to agree a deal with Navarro, then the gifted youngster could leave the club for a knock-down fee.
Several clubs in for Austin
Multiple Premier League sides will move for Southampton's Charlie Austin should the Saints be relegated, reports the Mirror.
With the Saints in serious relegation danger, Bournemouth, Leicester City and Championship promotion-chasers Aston Villa are among the sides keeping an eye on the 28-year-old.
Austin is Southampton's leading scorer this season, despite missing three months with a hamstring injury.
