The Turkish Football Federation announced the Super Lig will resume from June 12, as tournaments all over Europe get back on the field.

Although the COVID-19 pandemic is still raging, some countries have eased lockdown measures and that is also allowing the football teams to get back to work.

After the Bundesliga started up again last week, others are on track to pick up their seasons.

The Turkish Super Lig is the latest to confirm it’ll resume from June 12 and will allow five substitutions rather than three per game.

Turkey could be a particularly important hub, because the Champions League Final is due to be held in Istanbul.

There are still possible plans to change the tournament to a Final Four system, with all the games hosted by Turkey in August.
