UEFA have admitted the reason why they've allocated just 6,000 tickets to both Arsenal and Chelsea for the Europa League final is because of a 'logistical' problem.
The two Premier League giants booked their places in the competition's final on Thursday evening after the Gunners eased past Valencia 7-3 on aggregate while the Blues needed a penalty shootout to beat Frankfurt.
However, supporters from both teams have hit out at the small allocation of tickets provided to each club with UEFA revealing it wouldn't be 'responsible' in providing more tickets due to difficulties in travelling to Baku in Azerbaijan.
The European governing body released a statement on Friday explaining why only 12,000 tickets have been allocated to both clubs.
The statement read: 'Based on UEFA's recent experience with UEFA Europa League finals and the UEFA Super Cup in comparable venues the number of finalists' supporters requesting tickets for a UEFA Europa League final can vary greatly from club to club.
'Of course, it is impossible to predict in advance which clubs will reach the final while the venue has to be chosen around two years in advance.
'Taking into consideration the above and most importantly the geographical location and logisitcal capacity of airports in and around the host city, it was deemed that around 15,000 spectators would be able to travel from abroad (this includes finalists' fans and general public), with Baku as the main hub.
'Offering more tickets to fans of the participating teams, without any guarantee that they would be able to arrange suitable travel to reach Baku, was therefore not a responsible option.
'Based on these circumstances, for this year's UEFA Europa League final in Baku, 6,000 tickets have been made available to each of the finalists.
'UEFA remains in close contact with the finalists regarding the travel arrangements of their supporters and any other operational aspects with regards to the final.'
The Arsenal and Chelsea fans lucky enough to get tickets for the final will face a 2,850-mile trip to Azerbaijan capital to watch their side battle it out in the final.
However, there will be no direct flights and the Foreign Office have released information to say attacks are 'likely' to occur in the country – raising yet more concerns over this year's Europa League final venue.
'Terrorists are likely to try to carry out attacks in Azerbaijan,' reads guidance by the Foreign Office.

So much issues with Baku and the biggest one is safety. Why play in a country surrounded by so many other countries that are in turmoil. Unsafe for players and fans. Secondly to make such a ridiculous error aka Logistical problem, who have they assigned to allocate and organise cos they should be fired and the issue should be sorted....
