Former Barcelona head coach Ernesto Valverde arrived at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper on Tuesday morning to say goodbye to the players and correct his personal belongings.

Valverde took Monday's session with the players after the Spanish Supercopa defeat to Atletico and later met with president Josep Maria Bartomeu at the training ground. It was then that he was told he would be leaving the club.
Hours later, after a long board meeting and intense negotiations, the club officially revealed that they'd reached an agreement for Valverde's contract to be terminated, with Quique Setien replacing him.
TV3 journalist Francesc Latorre caught Calverde arriving at the training ground on Monday, minutes before Setien, who met the players for their first session together at 11am local time.
The new Barcelona coach will oversee a double session on Monday, with his presentation taking place at Camp Nou in between the two work out.

No matter our differences in playing style and philosophy, thanks for everything. You did a good job by winning two league tittles but never had the luck to overcome two champions League semi's, I guess the story would have been different now. As we all know, in life we must be dynamic by creating new opportunities thus wishing Valverde and Barcelona good luck in their new challenges ahead. God bless
