Aston Villa's £3million signing from Barcelona Louie Barry was on the scoresheet again as England U17s beat Ukraine 4-0 on Monday.
Barry, who had come off the bench to spark a 4-2 comeback win over Russia on Saturday, continued his vein of form with a close range effort to open the scoring and set up the second for Everton's Lewis Dobbin.
Kevin Betsy's young side then ran out comfortable winners at the Municipal Stadium of Marbella, with Dobbin making it 3-0 before West Ham's Amadou Diallo rounded off the scoring in a resounding win.
News of Barry's form will be welcomed at Villa, who splashed out £1million on him last month, luring the 16-year-old away from Barcelona just six months after he had joined the Catalan giants from West Brom.
Birmingham-born Barry had been with Albion since he was six but turned down the offer of a professional contract with the Championship club.
Boss Dean Smith has already hailed Villa fan Barry as 'a bright young kid' with 'an awful lot of potential'.
But while Smith also claimed Barry 'is an academy signing, first and foremost', the youngster has made it clear he plans on fighting for the first team.
Speaking to Birmingham Live, he added: 'What I want to do first at Villa is play really well and go up the ranks.
'My main ambition is to be in the first team by the end of the season. Dean Smith was excited for me to come in. I have spoken to all of the first-team players.'
West Brom were scheduled to receive £235,000 in compensation for Barry from Barcelona but that money has never been paid despite the club urging Fifa to act.

these were the kids who can replace some of our players but the problem with us is we just need other people's product we don't know to produce our own product [ko]
You’re not serious. After the success Barca had with their academy products, you thought it’ll be easy to get such talents every year? When you grow crops on a piece of land every season, what happens to the land? Do you get the same or better yields in your third year and beyond than your first and second year? That’s what is happening in the academy. Barca must buy and allow the academy to fallow.
