Pre Season game so nothing should be taken seriously unless it's 7-3 Experiment session in the 1st half , not much into it. Rakitic/Alba our best players in the 1st 40 mins. Interesting incidents in 2nd half 1) Fdj looks comfortable alongside Rakitiç but he was good in that RCM spot as well. Interesting 1-2s with Ousmane. Even tho it's pre season , Fdj is still so active throughout the pitch. 2) Malcom used to play as that SS role sometimes in Bordeux and it's workable. Good performance today. 3) S. Roberto in that holding role could be a useful backup. We need to concentrate more on players off the ball activity , and SR was good in that. Coaching management must've seen something in training. 4) Happy for Perez. Todibo with some crucial 1v1 blocks. Nothing to be taken seriously but Semedo still needs improvement in certain phases. Don't know for how long I need to keep saying this.

Damn didn’t get to watch the match but I’ve been reading some comments and wow as always, so impressed with Frenkie - he never fails to amaze me it’s like he’s always been a Barca boy. And so far our new signings, Riqui, and Tankdibo have exceeded expectations? I’m so excited for the season to start

So that was a boring game. Rafinha played well, he dribbles and links up well. Griezmann has so much to offer for us, he moves alot and his link up play is fantastic. Rakitic tried to/played more forward and that was good to see he played well. Busi was ok pretty basic game for him. First half was better than second. Second half was boring. Frenkie is 22 years old and he seems to have experience of a 35 year old. I love him. Dembele is still frustrating to watch, bad touches, bad passes and bad decisions, couple good runs. Perez both goals were nice good finishing. Puig played better in the Chelsea game but not so big of a difference. Tobido is a gem and hopefully he keeps on getting better because he absolutely has the talent to replace Pigue when the time is right. Overall the performance as a team was a bit "meh" but its pre-season so nothing to really worry about and the League cant start any sooner. Griezmann combined with Messi and Suarez, De Jong with Arthur and Rakitic/Busguets will be a sight to see and Im so excited for the season. AND Iniesta is still a god.

First half was very subdued, except for those moments of brilliance by iniesta. It was strange but lovely watching him play again. Second half was much more lively, and it seemed like we had a more organized amd controlling approach towards the game. Malcolm, Perez played well, and dembouz had some good combination plays as well. And my word, what a gem we have found in de jong. He looks right at home in this squad. He made himself available to get players out of a jam and always looked to pass the ball with intent. And it's also surprising how he organized the players around him. Playing in a new team from a different country, different language, in a third country all together, and he still has the guts to dictate others around him. Promising stuff lads, It's gonna be a hell of a season ahead!

I think the narrative might shift this season for Semedo, he has to be better going forward or else he's just not good enough for barca and should be sold

I saw some good flashes from Griezmann, can't wait for the combination between him and Messi with those slick 1-2 passes. De Jong had a good game imo. He played further forward than last game and his decision making is very sharp. I like the sharp presence of mind from him. He's gonna show his true colours when he'll be playing in the Gala XI. I would still like to see more from the squad, because I noticed the lack of the off the ball movement in first 45 minutes. Our players have to be making those runs so the space opens up. I'm gonna chalk this up to being a preseason friendly and the emphasis of these games are to regain fitness for the upcoming season.
