Arsene Wenger is emerging as the hot favourite to take over at Milan after Gennaro Gattuso suffered a 1-0 home defeat to Fiorentina.
The tactician’s job is on the line following today’s Serie A setback, decided by a Federico Chiesa strike.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, if the Rossoneri don’t get full points against relegation strugglers Frosinone and SPAL, Gattuso will be sacked before the New Year.
Former Arsenal legend Wenger is the favourite, especially now that Ivan Gazidis – ex-CEO of the Gunners – has taken over at Milan.
Another less likely option would be Roberto Donadoni, who parted company with Bologna by mutual consent over the summer.
