Union Berlin are braced for summer offers for their star forward Sheraldo Becker amid mounting Premier League interest.

West Ham, Fulham and Burnley, who will be back in the top flight next season, are among the clubs who have been alerted by Becker's form for surprise Bundesliga package Union.

Union are on course to qualify for the Champions League for the first time and reached the Europa League last-16 this season, with Suriname international Becker their biggest source of both goals and assists.

Attacker Becker, who is valued at around £15m, has top scored for Union this campaign scoring 12 times and setting up 10 further goals in 46 appearances.

The 28 year-old inspired Union to a crucial win in the battle for a top four finish on Saturday against fifth-placed Freiburg scoring twice and claiming two assists in a 4-2 win that left his side third with two games to go and on the brink of clinching a spot in Europe's biggest club competition.

His contribution against Freiburg also made him the first Union player ever to be directly involved in four goals in a Bundesliga game and the first to achieve the feat across the entire league this season.

Ideally Union would like to keep Becker, a player considered tailor-made for the Premier League and where he now has his admirers.

But with his current deal running out in 2024 there is an acceptance that the upcoming window represents their last chance to secure a significant fee for Becker.

Becker, who can play out wide as well as through the middle, was born in Amsterdam and started out at Ajax before joining Union in 2019 following a three-year stint at ADO Den Haag.

He represented Holland from under-16 through to under-20 level but is eligible for Suriname through his parents and has scored twice in six appearances as a full international.
