Ruben Loftus-Cheek revealed his celebrity crush is talkSPORT host Laura Woods in a hilarious interview on Wednesday. The 27-year-old has seen minutes restricted this campaign, starting just 16 games amid fitness and injury concerns, although he did start three straight Premier League matches shortly before the international break.

The England international took part in a quiz-style 'Chelsea SOS' with the radio presenter. One of the questions saw Woods pose the question "Who is your celebrity crush?", after doing likewise to Anthony Joshua in a recent interview, with the boxer choosing signer Beyonce.

However, Loftus-Cheek chose differently as he named the woman who had posed him the question. "Laura Woods," the midfielder exclaimed, before the ITV presenter laughed in hysterics and responded by saying: "An exceptional answer."

Woods signed off from the interview by admitting: "It’s been an absolute pleasure and I'll get your number later." While Loftus-Cheek was reportedly dating 2017 Love Island star Amber Davies in 2021, his current relationship status is unknown.

Cucurella was also the answer when Loftus-Cheek was asked about his preferred quiz partner at Chelsea.
